LET THE SPIRIT OF DIWALI ALSO LIGHT THEIR HEARTS ALSO

We all enjoy DIWALI. For our kids, it is the happiest time, because, they have holidays & every Diwali, they get new clothes, lots of gifts, lots of sweets to eat, Diwali fire crackers, Akash-Deeps etc. All these things are taken for granted by us, but, does it occur to us, that, not very far from our affluent cities & towns, there are ‘ADIVASEE’ villages, where there are kids, just like our own, for whom, DIWALI brings no gifts, no new clothes, no sweets & no fire crackers?

For them, DIWALI is just as dull & dark as their drab & boring daily lives.

“ Can we bring some joy in their lives during DIWALI?” We thought & decided to visit their poor villages,( overflowing with poverty & scarcity).

Every year, during Diwali time, we all go to some of these places with lots of ‘DIWALI SWEETS & SNACKS” and personally hand these to the kids. The happiness of Watching the excitement & joy on these innocent, sweet little faces cannot be described. It has to be experienced. All members of our organization contribute towards the expenses for the food packets & the transport.

Every year, we distribute ‘Diwali sweets & snacks, scanted soaps, hair oils, Fire crackers etc, to more than 1,000 children at MALEGAON ASHRAM SCHOOL, KALAK-RAIEE, VEET BHATTIS ( BRICK FACTORIES) , ORFANAGES, OLD AGE HOMES, ADIVASEE VASTIS ETC.
