CAP MAVAL
There are so many adivasee villages in MAVAL taluka where there are no accessible roads, no electricity, no clean drinking water & no medical aid of any kind. Carrying an ill person to the doctor in the nearest town is a most arduous task.( it may take two to three hours to reach the nearest doctor ). Most of these people have problems ( skin disease, stomach, eye sight, teeth, etc. ) requiring urgent medical attention, but because of inaccessibility & poverty, they neglect their problems instead of visiting a doctor.
we organizes around 3 to 4 medical camps especially in these most neglected backward areas like KALAK RAI, SATWAI WADI, MALEGAON, BABHULNE, KOTAM WADI etc. All villagers are examined & treated at no cost, by highly qualified doctors, who trek through the most difficult mountainous paths along with our members carrying all the medical equipments, medicines etc. We distribute all necessary medicines free of cost. If any one needs hospitalization or special tests like, X-ray, MRI, SONOGRAPHY etc, We give all the help in taking him/her to the hospital & getting the test done. Also, we take care of the expenses.
Dr. NAGARE ( M.S. orthopaedic surgery ), Dr. KHAN (DLO, DNB ( ENT) ) and Dr. AMEYA BEDEKAR ( MD, ( Medicine), FCDM( Nephrology ), Fellow in Echocardiography ) along with many other highly qualified doctors attend our MEDICAL CAMPS regularly. They give, not only their valuable time but they also bear the expenses for all the medicines. WE MAINTAIN MATICULUS DATA of all patients & make follow up visits to ensure that the prescribed medical treatment is being followed & the patients are improving.
