Clothes Distribution

Giving money is not the only way to help these ADIVASEE people. We all have too many used clothes in our houses & disposing these old clothes is a big problem.

We collect all such used but intact, washed clothes from everyone who is willing to give these, not only in TALEGAON but also from other places,( even from abroad ). We then, remove any torn clothes, sort the intact clothes into categories as clothes for men, women, boys, girls, babies etc. fold and pack them nicely. Our members then take these with them in small trucks / SUVS or cars to different remote ADIVASEE villages & personally hand these over to the poor & needy families. Although, these are old, discarded, worthless clothes for us, they are most valuable for these poor people. We can see this from the joy & fascination, clearly written on their faces. This distribution of clothes is like a festive occasion for them.

EVERY year, we distribute clothes to around 600 families in 14 to 15 villages, like, KALAK RAIEE, MALEGAON, TALPE-WADI, KATKARI VASTI, BHOIRE, VADIVALE, VEET BHATTIS, UKSAN, PICHAD-VASTI, ETC.
